Come on down and visit our tent in the Eco Village at the Yarmouth Clam Festival this weekend. We’ll be there from noon-5pm Saturday and Sunday. Margaret will be signing copies of The Year of the Goat and the Food Lovers’ Guide to Maine, we’ll have information about upcoming homesteading workshops, and of course, we’ll have several of our baby goats in tow. Come say hello! Hope to see you there!
Margaret will be speaking this Sunday, September 19, at 1:30pm at the Monadnock Literary & Arts Festival at Camp Glen Brook in Marlborough, New Hampshire. If you are in New Hampshire, Vermont, Mass, or Western Maine, and want to make the trek, we highly recommend you check out this exciting celebration of writing, music and arts, only in its second year. For more information visit the Camp Glen Brook website.
Here’s a description of the festival from the site:
Glen Brook’s second annual Monadnock Literary & Arts Festival invites writers, artists, musicians – and participants – to celebrate the effects of place on our daily lives. Whether we live in city neighborhoods, the suburbs or exurbs, or rural landscape, our environment affects who we are: our choice of music and entertainment, our outdoor adventures and our culinary tastes, even the friends we choose. Artists and writers and visitors are invited to Glen Brook’s Marlborough, New Hampshire, campus to celebrate three days of the arts – writer discussions and readings, artist presentations, and musical performances.
