Comments Off on Come stay at Ten Apple Farm!

We’ll be announcing new goat hike dates for May and June very soon, but in the meantime, there’s another way you can get your Ten Apple Farm goat fix…. come stay with us at the farm! Our cozy guest house situated in the Ten Apple woods is still available for rent several weekends and weeknights through May and June. Farm guests are invited to help with chores, milk the goats, feed the babies, and join a goat hike! You’ll enjoy complementary goat milk and eggs from the farm, and Margaret is always baking up special treats for our guests. The house has 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, full kitchen, wifi, lots of games, and sleeps 6-8 people very comfortably.

Here are some date spans that are still available this spring and summer for farm stays:

  • April 27 – May 3
  • May 7 – May 15
  • May 22 – May 24
  • May 29 – Jun 4
  • Jun 12 – 14
  • July 24 – 28
  • Aug 22 – 24
  • Aug 30 – Sept 4 (Labor Day Weekend!)

You don’t have to book the whole date range, we welcome weeknight stays of 2 nights and weekend stays minimum 3 nights. We do all our bookings through Airbnb. If you’re interested in staying at the farm, please visit our Airbnb listing page.

We look forward to seeing you out at the farm this summer!

Goat Hikes Gone Viral!

So it looks like it’s finally happened. Goat hiking is going viral! We just discovered an episode produced by Country Living Magazine of a Facebook show called Life With Pets. It was made up mostly from footage of the recent visit and story by channel 8 news in Portland, together with a bunch of stock footage of farms and goats that isn’t us and aren’t our goats. It’s a pretty nice and complementary piece, and does capture the spirit and fun of the goat hikes, as well as touch our Year of the Goat origin story. Check it out!
