Looking for a cozy winter getaway? Want to spend some time with goats? We’ve got you covered on both counts! We’d love to host you at the farm this winter, so we’re making all stays at Ten Apple Farm’s Woods House 30% off in February and March!

Our private 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath, guest house is set back in the quiet woods behind the farm. The house comfortably sleeps 6-8 people (up to 10 less comfortably!) and is situated at the end of its own private road. The farm is a convenient distance from Portland, Freeport, and local ski areas. There are trails for hiking or snowshoeing, a wood stove to cozy up around in the evening, a full kitchen, wifi, movies and games, and of course all guests are invited to spend time at the farm with our gregarious group of Alpine dairy goats, pigs, sheep, and other critters. Want to learn how to milk a goat? Make cheese? Now’s your chance!

To take advantage of the special offer, just visit our Airbnb listing and put in the dates that you’re interested in, we’ve adjusted nightly prices down 30% for Feb & March. If you have any questions about the Woods House or the farm stay, feel free to email us.*

Winter is a great time to be at the farm and in the woods. Come be our guest at Ten Apple Farm!

More Winter Goat Hikes!

We’re adding 4 more hikes in January and February!

Here are the four January / February hikes coming up:

Sunday, Jan 14, 2 pm – FULL
Sunday, Jan 21, 2 pm – FULL
Sunday, Feb 4, 2 pm – FULL
Sunday, Feb 11, 2 pm
Here’s how it works: You’ll hike through the Ten Apple Farm woods with our herd of Alpine dairy goats. The hike consists of an approximately 1 1/2 mile loop through the woods on fairly well maintained trails. There is some steep terrain. Snowshoes or crampons (not provided) are often a good idea, depending on weather and snow conditions. Check with us prior to the hike about snow conditions. Children must be at least 5 years old and accompanied by an adult. (Children under 4 must be carried). Along the way we’ll talk about goats as pack animals and you’ll learn a thing or two about raising and caring for goats. After the hike, try your hand at goat milking, and enjoy some fresh goat milk and cookies! $10 per adult, $5 for kids.

To sign up, send us an email to info[at] with your name, # in your party, and a contact phone number (cell preferred).

See you at the farm!
